Privacy Policy

QE Cards provides digital business cards. This policy explains the information handled when you use the app or open a hosted card.

Information we handle

Account registration uses your email address and login credentials. A card can contain your name, role, company, phone, email, website, address, description, links, and uploaded photo or logo. You choose which supported contact fields are public.

We keep purchase records so your lifetime upgrade works across supported devices. We also process basic service logs and contact-file download counts to operate and protect the site. Card activity uses temporary keyed hashes of a visitor’s IP address and browser information to avoid counting repeated visits to the same card on one day. These hashes are deleted after 14 days. If you enable weekly activity notifications, we store your device push token and time zone until you turn notifications off or delete your account.

Public cards

When you publish a card, the details you elect to show become available to anyone with its URL. A recipient can view, copy, share, and save that information. Free cards are marked for search engines not to index, but a public URL can still be shared.

Service providers

QE Cards uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, Cloudflare to serve pages and protect the site, RevenueCat and the app stores for purchase records, Google Web Risk to check outbound links for abuse, and Expo with Apple or Google to deliver optional push notifications. If you choose to add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, that provider receives the card details and QR link needed for the pass. Those providers may process information needed to deliver their services.

Retention and deletion

You can edit or delete cards in the app and delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes your cards, account profile, and uploaded card images. Previously used personal links remain reserved so old links cannot later point to another person.
